Swap Internal and External Storage on Canvas HD


Recently bought a Canvas HD, and stuck up with just 1GB internal storage, and can't install many games at a single time ? No worries, here is a way to Swap your Internal and External storage, and install anything you like without any limits.

Requirements

  • Your Canvas HD should be rooted. ( See Root Canvas HD )
  • Internet Connection ( You will probably have it, as you are reading this post on the web ) 

Method

  1. First of all please backup every important file in both your internal storage and external storage as anything can go wrong at any time.
  2. Now go to Play Store, and install Root External 2 Internal SD ( Link : Root External 2 Internal SD )
  3. Now download ES File Manager from Play Store. ( Link : ES File Explorer )
  4. Open ES File Explorer, go to Settings > Root Setting > check Root Explorer, in the pop up to grant permissions grant it permission.
  5. Go to your Internal SD Card folder, and copy the Android folder.
  6. Paste in into your external SD Card.
  7. Open Root External 2 Internal SD Card.
  8. Allow it Super User permission.
  9. Press I Don't Care.
  10. Un check Set At Boot.
  11. Now press the Swap button.
Thats it !!

      Hi, this is working in the Micromax Canvas HD test model that we had. But if you try it out, there won't be any problems, you won't lose any data. The maximum wrong, would be that you won't swap the storage.

    I aleardy use this

    But after use it reduce my memory card value same as internal memory and not showing momry card data

    There is any alternative

      Then install the bt5 app, and move it to sd card.
